DIGITUS Mobile Charging Cabinet for 30 Laptops/Tablets up to 16" - USB-C
30 devicesUSB-C + AC outletsLockableOn castors
The DIGITUS DN-45006 is a lockable mobile charging cabinet that stores and charges up to 30 laptops or tablets up to 16 inches, built for schools, training rooms and companies that hand out device fleets.
Each of the 30 slots has its own USB-C port on the front, and three rear power strips provide 30 grounded outlets for devices that need their own adapter. Doors front and back open 180°, lock with a two-point bar lock, and the cabinet moves on four castors.
Before you order: USB-C ports deliver at most 20 W each (320 W in total), which suits tablets and low-power devices; most laptops need their own power adapter on the rear outlets. The cabinet must be connected to a permanently installed, earthed socket protected by an RCD — no extension cables or multi-socket strips.
What's in the Box
- Charging cabinet, fully assembled
- 2 handles with mounting hardware
- 2 m power cord
- 4 keys
- User manual
- USB-C charging cables are not included
What It Means in Practice
- Tablets and USB-C devices charge directly from the front ports; laptops plug their own adapters into the 30 rear outlets, with cable trays to keep the adapters tidy.
- Three 24 V fans start automatically above 40 °C to keep the cabinet cool while all devices charge.
- The integrated 30 mA residual current circuit breaker and switched C20 side inlet add electrical protection.
- Removable plastic brackets and lockable castors let you adapt slots and park the cart safely in a classroom.
What Will Not Work
- Devices larger than 16 inches will not fit (inner shelf depth 415 mm).
- Laptops that need more than about 20 W will charge slowly or not at all on the USB-C ports; use their own chargers on the rear outlets.
- It has no data synchronisation and no UV-C disinfection.
- It is for indoor use only, in a dry, dust-free room; it must not be run from an extension cable.
