The Digitus DN-10-BPN-01 is a 1U blank cover for 254 mm (10-inch) network enclosures, made of sheet steel in light grey RAL 7035, for anyone closing empty rack units in a compact 10-inch wall or desktop cabinet.
Empty height units leave the front of a cabinet open: warm air from switches and patch panels loops back to the front instead of leaving through the rear or top, dust gets in, and loose cables are in plain view. A blank panel closes each gap with a flat steel plate, so the cabinet looks finished and the airflow follows the path the enclosure was designed for. Digitus supplies the mounting hardware with the panel, so it goes in with a screwdriver and nothing else.
Before you order: This panel is for 10-inch (254 mm) rails only. It will not span a 19-inch rack. For 19-inch cabinets choose the Digitus DN-19 BPN-01 (grey) or DN-19 BPN-01-SW (black) instead.

What It Means in Practice
- Covers exactly one height unit (1U, 44.45 mm) in a 10-inch cabinet. Two empty units need two panels.
- Screws into cage nuts on the front profile rails, the same way a 10-inch patch panel or shelf is fitted.
- Light grey RAL 7035 matches the most common grey 10-inch enclosures, including Digitus grey cabinets.
- The plate is only 12 mm deep, so it does not take space behind the rails away from the equipment above and below.
What Will Not Work
- 19-inch racks and cabinets: the panel is 255 mm wide and only reaches across 10-inch rails.
- Tool-less mounting: this panel is screwed in; there are no snap-in clips.
- Cable pass-through: it is a solid plate. For cables use a brush or cable-entry panel instead.
- Black cabinets: the colour is light grey. For a black enclosure order the DN-10-BPN-01-B.
