DIGITUS DN-91612SD-EA — 12-Port Cat 6A Shielded Desktop Patch Panel
12 portsCat 6A shieldedDesktop housingLSA punch-down
The DIGITUS DN-91612SD-EA is a 12-port Cat 6A shielded desktop patch panel in black (RAL 9005). It sits on a desk or shelf in its own steel housing, so it needs no rack or cabinet. Installation cable is punched down on the back with an LSA (Krone) punch-down tool, and the 12 RJ45 sockets on the front take ordinary patch cords, rated for 10 Gbit/s (10GBase-T). In practice it gives the cables coming from wall outlets and ceilings a fixed, labelled end point next to your switch, so that moves and changes are made with short patch cords at the panel instead of re-terminating installation cable.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a desktop housing, not a rack unit — the 10-inch rack version of the same Cat 6A panel is DN-91612S-EA. The ports are fixed and terminated with an LSA (Krone) punch-down tool, which is not in the box. As a shielded panel it only gives its full screening with shielded cable and a grounded rack or earth point; DIGITUS lists no earthing wire in the box. It stands on a desk or shelf with the ports facing you for easy patching. Not sure it matches your cabling? Send us the cable type and the rack or cabinet model and we check it.

Key Features
Punch-down termination
LSA strips, colour-coded T568A/B. Once the cable is terminated, every move is made with a patch cord at the front.
Cat 6A performance
Class EA, up to 500 MHz, 10GBase-T, PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at). The shielded design helps in electrically noisy rooms and with PoE-heavy cable bundles.
Desktop housing
A closed steel housing sits on a desk or shelf, with the terminations protected inside and the ports facing you.
Quick-latch housing
The steel table housing opens with quick latches for termination and service, and keeps the connections protected afterwards.

Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the DN-91612SD-EA for small offices, shops and home offices with no rack, where a closed desktop box keeps twelve Cat 6A terminations tidy. Leave a few ports free for growth, since most offices add devices faster than they expect. Plan the panel with cable and patch cords of the same category, and label the ports as you terminate them. Every order comes with Singular’s local support in Cyprus. See our patch panels or the network switches and network cables that complete the link.
