The Digitus DN-91624S-SL-EA is a shielded Cat 6A Class EA high-density patch panel that fits 24 RJ45 ports into just half a rack unit (0.5U) of a 19-inch rack, made for data centres, server rooms and busy network cabinets that run 10-Gigabit copper (10GBase-T) and are short on space.
Two panels stacked take only 1U and give 48 ports, which is ideal in front of 48-port switches. The ports are fixed (not keystone) RJ45 8P8C jacks with nickel-plated bronze shielding and LSA termination at the back, colour-coded for T568A and T568B, with integrated cable clamps and a dust flap on every port.
Before you order: A half-unit panel needs half-unit spacing: when you mount one panel alone, the remaining 0.5U stays open unless you add a second panel or a blanking panel. Earth wire is not included.

What Will Not Work
- It is not a keystone panel: ports cannot be swapped for fibre or other modules.
- Shielding has no effect with unshielded cable or an unearthed rack.
- It does not fit 10-inch racks.

Half-unit panels are worth it when every rack unit counts, especially in front of 48-port switches. Plan the earthing from the start: a shielded Cat 6A system only performs when the cable shield, panel and rack are bonded together. Pair it with shielded Cat 6A patch cords.

✕ Skip it if your installation is unshielded Cat 6, or you need a modular keystone panel.
