The DIGITUS DN-97660 is a cable brush strip for 19-inch cabinets: a 1U sheet-steel panel in light grey RAL 7035 with a 27 × 423 mm brush opening. Cables pass through the brush, which closes around them, so the open rack unit is covered while patch cords and power leads still reach the equipment behind it. In practice it is the tidy way to bring cables from the front to the back of a rack, or between patch panel and switch, without leaving a gap in the cabinet front. Fit it where cables cross between the front and the back of the rack — typically between a patch panel and the switch, or at the top where cables enter — and keep the bundles loose enough for the brush to close around them.
Compatibility — check before buying:
It fits 19-inch racks only and takes 1U. It is a brush strip only — no cable rings or hooks. The colour is light grey RAL 7035, so it will stand out in a black cabinet.
