The DIGITUS DS-55507 is an HDMI KVM extender set that carries Full HD video (up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz, 4:4:4) plus USB keyboard and mouse between a computer and a remote workstation over network cable. A direct CAT 5e (or better) run reaches up to 150 m; through standard network switches on your existing LAN, the distance becomes practically unlimited.
Typical uses are machines in a server room, industrial PCs in a protected cabinet, kiosks and public displays: the computer stays secure, and the operator works at the receiver with a monitor, keyboard and mouse as if sitting next to it. IR pass-through allows a remote control to operate the source from the display end.
Before you order: Keyboard and mouse are extended over USB 1.1 — fine for standard keyboards and mice, not for USB drives, webcams or other high-speed devices. Over a LAN, the extender uses network bandwidth; ask us before putting it on a busy office switch.

What Will Not Work
- No 4K — maximum 1920x1200 at 60Hz.
- USB is 1.1: no USB storage, cameras or audio interfaces through the extender.
- Not wireless — a CAT cable or LAN connection is required.
- No touch-screen support is published.
- No RS-232 channel.
