The DIGITUS DN-19 16-U-EC-SW is a 16U 19-inch wall mounting cabinet from the DIGITUS Dynamic Basic Series, measuring 785 x 600 x 450 mm (H x W x D) in black (RAL 9005). It has a lockable safety-glass front door that opens 230°, removable side panels and two pairs of depth-adjustable 19" profile rails, and it carries up to 60 kg of equipment. Equipment can be 219–320 mm deep, which suits switches, patch panels, routers and small recorders in an office, shop or comms corner. It hangs on a wall-mounting plate: the plate is screwed to the wall first, then the housing is attached. The roof is prepared for an optional fan unit.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The cabinet is 450 mm deep outside, but equipment between the rails can only be 219–320 mm deep — rack servers and deep UPS units will not fit. The load limit is 60 kg, and the wall must hold that plus the cabinet itself (32 kg). Wall plugs and screws for your wall are not in the box, and neither are a fan, shelf or power strip. Check the code before ordering: DN-19 16-U-EC is the grey version, and the heavier Unique Series (no -EC in the code), rated 100 kg with 305–370 mm depth. Measure the depth of your deepest device first: in this cabinet it must be 219–320 mm, and patch cords need a little room in front too. Plan the 16U with about a third spare for growth, and use anchors rated for the loaded weight — plasterboard alone will not do. If you expect heavier equipment, the Unique Series takes 100 kg.
