The DIGITUS DN-95127-1 is a Gigabit PoE extender that pushes power and data an extra 100 metres beyond the usual Ethernet limit — and it powers itself from the incoming PoE line, so no socket is needed at the extender's location. One PoE input feeds two Gigabit PoE output ports (up to 30W each, 60W total), regenerating the signal so distant cameras and access points get a clean link and full power. Units are cascadable, so you can chain several to reach really far-flung devices.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Needs an 802.3at (PoE+) or 4PPoE source delivering 50–57V on the input — the extender runs entirely from that, with no external adapter. Output is 44–57V, up to 30W per port (60W total with a 4PPoE feed; ~20W with a standard PoE+ feed). All ports are Gigabit; use standard Cat5e or better.
