The DIGITUS DN-95438 is a vertically mounted aluminium socket strip for network and server cabinets, with 9 earthed Schuko outlets, integrated overvoltage protection (nominal discharge current 10 kA) and a mains filter. It suits racks where you want many outlets without giving up rack units: it mounts upright along the cabinet frame.
The sockets are rotated 45° so bulky power supplies do not block their neighbours. The housing is aluminium with UL-94 V-0 rated ABS parts, the length is 620 mm and it is fed by a 2 m H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² cable with a Schuko plug.
Before you order: Plug and sockets are Schuko (CEE 7/7 / DIN 49440), not the UK BS 1363 type used for most wall sockets in Cyprus. Plan a Schuko-compatible feed (or a UPS with suitable output) and use Schuko or IEC cords for your devices.

What It Means in Practice
- Rated 3600 W in total at 230–250 V AC: add up the load you plug in and stay below that.
- Overvoltage protection and mains filter give basic protection against spikes and interference — not a substitute for a UPS during outages.
- Vertical mounting uses no rack units; check that your cabinet has 620 mm of free height at the side or rear.
- There is no on/off switch and no circuit breaker listed.
What Will Not Work
- UK-plug (BS 1363) devices will not plug in without adapters.
- It must not be cascaded with another multiple socket (manufacturer safety note).
- It will not keep equipment running during a power cut — that needs a UPS.
- Not a 19-inch horizontal 1U PDU — it does not mount on the front rails.
