The DIGITUS DN-95433 is a 19-inch, 1U rack power strip with five Schuko (earthing-contact) sockets, an integrated mains filter and surge protection with a nominal discharge current of 10 kA, rated 16 A / 3.6 kVA. It is the protected choice for servers, switches and storage in a rack that is fed directly from the mains.
It is built in an aluminium housing, has an illuminated master switch that is secured against unintentional switch-off, and the sockets are rotated 45° so angled plugs and power adapters fit side by side.
Before you order: The sockets are German Schuko (CEE 7/3) and the strip ends in a CEE 7/7 plug. In Cyprus that means a Schuko outlet installed by an electrician or a UPS with Schuko outputs — it does not plug into a BS 1363 wall socket, and devices with BS 1363 plugs need CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 cords.

What It Means in Practice
- Five outlets with surge protection and filtering in a single 1U — good for a small server or NAS rack without a UPS in front of it.
- The mains filter reduces electrical noise on the supply; the 10 kA surge stage handles spikes that a plain strip would pass straight through.
- The illuminated switch shows at a glance that the strip is live, and it cannot be switched off by brushing past it.
- 16 A / 3.6 kVA is the limit for the whole strip — add up the loads you plug in.
What Will Not Work
- BS 1363 (UK/Cyprus) plugs — they do not fit Schuko sockets; use CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 cords.
- Plugging the strip into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — the CEE 7/7 plug needs a Schuko outlet or a UPS with Schuko outputs.
- IEC C13/C19 server cords — there are no IEC outlets on this strip.
- Keeping equipment running in a power cut — it is a protected strip, not a UPS.
