The Digitus DN-PWR24048 is an industrial AC-to-DC power supply delivering 48 V DC at up to 5 A (240 W), built in a metal case for DIN rail mounting — the typical supply for industrial PoE switches, PoE injectors and other 48 V devices in control cabinets.
It accepts a wide 90–264 V AC input, so it runs on the Cyprus 230 V mains, and its output can be trimmed between 48 and 55 V. That adjustment matters for PoE: many industrial PoE+ switches need 52–54 V at the input to deliver full 802.3at power to the ports. Cooling is by natural convection, so there is no fan to fail or clog with dust.
Before you order: Check the input voltage your device needs. A PoE switch that wants 52–54 V for PoE+ must have the output trimmed up from the 48 V default, and the total load must stay within 240 W.

What It Means in Practice
- 240 W at 48 V is enough for a mid-size industrial PoE switch plus its connected cameras or access points, within the supply's limit.
- Snap-on mounting on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rail in a control or distribution cabinet.
- Overload, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection help protect the connected device.
- Wiring must be done by a qualified electrician — the AC side is connected to screw terminals.
What Will Not Work
- Devices that need 12 V or 24 V — use a 12/24 V supply instead.
- Loads above 240 W in total.
- Plugging into a socket as a desktop adapter — it has no mains plug or DC jack.
- Mounting without a DIN rail unless you add your own bracket.
