The Digitus DK-24338U030BK-BBB is a 30 m pre-assembled universal breakout cable with 8 OM4 multimode fibres (50/125 µm), factory-terminated with LC/UPC connectors at both ends. It is for installers and IT teams who need to link two racks, floors or buildings with multiple fibre pairs without splicing on site.
The universal (indoor/outdoor) construction I/A-DQ(ZN)BH has a halogen-free LSOH black jacket with 6.0 mm outer diameter and CPR class Dca. Both ends are protected by a pull-in aid for pulling through ducts, and each cable ships with a measurement protocol, so no follow-up testing is needed before going live.
Before you order: Both ends are LC/UPC connectors on OM4 multimode fibre. Your transceivers or patch panels must be multimode (SR/SX, 850 nm) with LC ports — single-mode (LR, OS2) optics and SC/APC panels will not work.

What It Means in Practice
- 8 fibres give 4 duplex links (e.g. four 10G/25G SR connections) over one cable run.
- Plug-and-play: terminate into partially assembled patch panels without splicing or field polishing.
- The pull-in aid protects the connectors while the cable is pulled through conduit; remove it only at the termination point.
- LSOH jacket and Dca CPR class suit installation inside buildings as well as in ducts between buildings.
What Will Not Work
- Not for single-mode optics (LR/ER, OS2) or APC (green) connectors.
- No SC, ST or MPO connectors — LC/UPC only.
- It is not a ready patch cord for direct desk use; the breakout ends are intended to be terminated into a patch panel or splice box.
- The 30 m length is fixed; it cannot be shortened without re-terminating.
