The DIGITUS DN-93706 is a 12-port shielded keystone patch panel for a desk, a shelf or a small office where there is no rack. It is a light grey, shielded cold-rolled steel box with 12 slots for keystone modules, built-in cable management, a removable top cover and transparent label fields, made to stand on a desk or hang on a wall. In practice you choose the jacks: fit Cat6, Cat6A, shielded or unshielded keystone modules (bought separately) and each port becomes whatever the job needs, so one panel can grow with the network.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check before buying: No keystone jacks are included — the panel is an empty frame and no port works until you fit modules. Fit shielded keystone modules to keep the screening; tell us the cable you use and we match them. DIN-rail mounting needs the separate AN-25188 kit. It is a desktop unit, not a rack panel — there are no 19″ or 10″ rack ears. Shielding only helps with shielded cable (F/UTP, S/FTP) whose shield is terminated and the panel earthed; with UTP cable it works as a normal panel. Not sure it suits your cabinet or cable? Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mount it in a rack?
No. It is a desktop panel for a desk, a shelf or a small office where there is no rack. It stands on a desk or mounts on a wall, and fits a DIN rail with the separate AN-25188 kit. If you have a 19-inch or 10-inch cabinet, ask us for the matching rack panel.
Are keystone jacks included?
No. The panel ships empty, so every port needs a keystone jack. Choose shielded or unshielded modules to match your cable and category, and tell us the quantity — we supply the matching jacks.
Do I need shielded cable?
To benefit from the shielding, yes: use shielded cable (F/UTP or S/FTP), terminate the shield properly and earth the panel. With ordinary UTP cable it still works, but the shielding adds nothing.
Which speeds does it support?
That depends on the jacks and cable you fit. With Cat6 keystones and cabling you build Gigabit links; for 10 Gigabit over longer runs use Cat6A jacks and cable end to end. The panel itself only holds the modules.
