The Digitus DN-95103-2 is a single-port Gigabit PoE+ injector that adds IEEE 802.3at power — up to 30 W at 55 V DC — to an Ethernet link. It is used to power one access point, IP camera or IP phone from a switch or router that has no PoE ports.

The power supply is built in and connects to the mains with an AC cable. Data passes at 10/100/1000 Mbps; the injector detects and classifies the connected device before it applies power, and it limits current and protects against short circuits.

Before you order: Do not confuse it with the DN-95103-3, a different Digitus variant. The DN-95103-2 is limited to 30 W: 802.3bt (60 W / 90 W) devices need a PoE++ injector.

What It Means in Practice

  • Covers typical Wi-Fi 6 access points and PoE+ cameras that need up to 25.5 W at the device.
  • One Cat5e/Cat6 cable up to 100 m carries data and power; with an optional PoE extender (not included) the reach can grow to 400 m.
  • Detection means a non-PoE laptop or printer plugged in by mistake only receives data.
  • Self-consumption is up to 7 W, which is normal for a 30 W injector with an internal supply.

What Will Not Work

  • It does not power 802.3bt (60/90 W) devices.
  • It does not output 12 V DC for non-PoE devices — use a splitter.
  • It is not a switch: one data input, one data + power output.
  • It is for indoor use only.

What is the difference to the DN-95103-3?
They are different Digitus catalogue items. Order by the exact part number; if you are replacing an existing unit, send us the label code and we will check it.
Will it power a Wi-Fi 6 access point?
Most Wi-Fi 6 access points need 802.3at, which this injector provides. Check the maximum power of the access point.
Can I extend beyond 100 m?
Yes, with a PoE extender in line (not included), up to 400 m in total according to Digitus.
