DIGITUS 19-Inch Fixed Shelf, 1U, 400 mm — Front 2-Point Mounting, Grey RAL 7035
1U2-point front fixingTray 440 x 390 mmMax 15 kg
The DIGITUS DN-97614 is a 1U 19-inch fixed shelf, 400 mm deep with a 440 x 390 mm storage area, fixed to the front 19-inch rails only and rated for 15 kg, for placing routers, modems, small NAS units and other non-rackable devices in network cabinets from 600 mm depth.
Two-point front fixing is the practical choice when the cabinet has no rear rails or when the rear rails are set at a depth that a four-point shelf cannot reach. The shelf is made of sturdy perforated steel sheet, so air can flow through the tray, and the slim 1U design leaves the maximum space for the devices around it. The grey RAL 7035 finish matches DIGITUS and most other grey cabinets.
Before you order: The shelf is supported only at the front and is rated for 15 kg. Keep heavier devices such as UPS units on a four-point or heavy-duty shelf. The cabinet must be at least 600 mm deep.
What's in the Box
- 1 x 19-inch 1U fixed shelf, grey RAL 7035
- Installation set: screws, cage nuts and washers
What It Means in Practice
- Front-only fixing: works in wall cabinets and in floor cabinets without a rear rail plane.
- 440 x 390 mm of usable tray for a router, a firewall appliance or a small NAS.
- 15 kg load rating covers most small-office network devices.
- Perforated sheet keeps air moving under devices with bottom vents.
What Will Not Work
- Cabinets shallower than 600 mm — the shelf is 400 mm deep and DIGITUS specifies cabinets from 600 mm.
- Loads above 15 kg, such as a UPS or a tower server.
- Rear fixing: this model has no rear brackets; for four-point mounting choose a shelf with variable rails.
- Sliding or pull-out use: this is a fixed shelf.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Most network cabinets end up holding at least one device without rack ears: the ISP router, a firewall appliance, a mini PC. A front-mount shelf like this one keeps them off the cabinet floor and away from the cables. Complete the cabinet with more 19-inch rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you need a simple 1U shelf for light devices up to 15 kg in a cabinet at least 600 mm deep.
✕ Skip it if the device weighs more than 15 kg, or your cabinet is shallower than 600 mm.
→ Also consider the black version DN-19 TRAY-1-400-SW, or the DIGITUS DN-97644 shelf with variable rails for four-point mounting and up to 50 kg.
