DIGITUS DN-97651 — tool-free snap-in 1U blank panel for 19-inch racks
19-inch1USnap-in, tool-freeABS, black
The DIGITUS DN-97651 is a 1U snap-in blind cover for 482.6 mm (19-inch) profile rails in network and server cabinets and universal 19-inch equipment racks, made of black ABS and fitted or removed without tools in seconds.
It closes unused rack units to keep airflow going through the equipment instead of around it, and gives the cabinet a tidy closed front.
What's in the Box
- 1 x snap-in blind cover 1U, black
What It Means in Practice
- No cage nuts or screws: the panel clips directly into the 19-inch profile.
- Swap panels in and out quickly when you add or remove equipment.
- Fill every empty unit to stop hot exhaust air recirculating to the front.
- Suits DIGITUS cabinets and other racks with standard 19-inch profile rails.
What Will Not Work
- Not for 10-inch racks.
- Covers 1U only — larger gaps need several panels.
- It is ABS plastic, not steel — do not use it as a shelf or to support equipment.
- Cables cannot pass through it; use a brush panel for cable entry.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Tool-free blanking panels get used; screw-in panels often end up left on the floor. For racks where equipment changes often, snap-in covers are the practical choice. More in our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you want to close empty 1U spaces in a 19-inch rack quickly and without tools.
✕ Skip it if you need a steel panel, a 10-inch panel or a panel that lets cables through.
→ Also consider Steel 19-inch blank panels or a brush panel for cable entry.
