The Digitus DN-48002 is a universal 19-inch equipment rack with 21 rack units, castors and carrying handles, built for audio-video, studio, event and lab equipment that has to be moved around and stay easy to reach from every side.
It is an open rack rather than a closed network cabinet: there are no front or rear doors and no IP rating, and both side walls have ventilation slits. In return you get free access to front and rear panels, good airflow and a footprint of only 507 × 460 mm with a height of 1000 mm. The 19-inch rails are threaded at the front and rear and accept both US (10-32) and EU (M6) style screws, and the frame takes up to 136 kg.
Before you order: This rack has no doors and no lock. If the equipment must be locked away in an office or shared space, choose a closed 19" cabinet instead.

What It Means in Practice
- Equipment depth up to 457.8 mm — mixers, amplifiers, media players, KVMs, small switches and rack shelves fit; deep servers do not.
- Castors let one person roll a fully loaded AV rack between rooms or stages; handles help when lifting into a vehicle.
- Rails are threaded, so you screw devices directly in without cage nuts.
- Flat-pack delivery: plan about half an hour for assembly with the supplied screwdriver.
