The DIGITUS DN-97645 is a 1U 19-inch fixed shelf with variable-depth side rails that bolts to all four rack uprights, rated for 50 kg and designed for 600 mm deep network and server cabinets. It suits anyone who needs to put non-rackable equipment such as a small NAS, a desktop router, a UPS, a mini PC or a modem into a standard 19-inch cabinet.

Because the shelf is fixed to the front and rear profile rails, the load is carried at four points instead of hanging off the front only. The perforated steel tray lets warm air rise through the shelf, which matters when the device sitting on it produces heat.

• Four-point fixing means the shelf does not sag at the back under a heavier device, unlike a front-only cantilever shelf.
• It occupies exactly one rack unit, but the device on top needs its own free height above the shelf - count the U you need for the device, not just the shelf.
• The perforated base allows vertical airflow, so it is a reasonable home for a router, a small switch without rack ears or a mini PC.
• Use the supplied M6 cage nuts in square-hole uprights; the depth is set by sliding the rails before tightening.

• It will not fit a wall-mount cabinet or open frame that has no rear pair of 19-inch uprights - it needs all four mounting points.
• It will not reach the rear rails in cabinets where the front-to-rear rail distance is outside 350-550 mm; for 800 mm cabinets choose DN-97647 or DN-97646.
• It is not a sliding or pull-out shelf - equipment must be accessed from the front or rear of the cabinet.
• Do not exceed the 50 kg load; heavy UPS units should sit on the floor of the cabinet or on a dedicated heavy-duty rail kit.
