The DIGITUS DN-97644 is a 1U 19-inch fixed shelf with variable fastening rails from 350 to 550 mm, fixed at four points to the front and rear 19-inch rails and rated for 50 kg, for carrying heavier non-rackable equipment such as small servers, NAS units and UPS systems in 600 mm deep cabinets.
The load rating is the key difference to a front-mounted shelf: because the tray hangs on both rail planes, it carries more than three times the weight of a 2-point DIGITUS shelf. The rails slide to meet the rear profile rails wherever they sit between 350 and 550 mm, and the sturdy perforated steel sheet lets heat escape from the devices on top. The grey RAL 7035 finish matches standard light grey network cabinets.
Before you order: This shelf needs front and rear 19-inch rails spaced 350 to 550 mm apart; DIGITUS specifies a cabinet depth of 600 mm. In a wall cabinet with front rails only it cannot be installed.

When a device weighs more than a few kilograms, a shelf fixed to both rail planes is the safe choice — the front rails alone were never meant to hold a UPS. The DN-97644 does that in the most common 600 mm cabinet depth. More options in our 19-inch rack accessories range.
