The DIGITUS DS-55346 is a wireless HDMI extender set with a metal transmitter and receiver that sends Full HD video (1080p/60) and audio up to 100 m in clear line of sight in a 1:1 connection. Add up to three more DS-55347 receivers and it becomes a wireless 1-to-4 splitter, showing the same source on four screens — useful for signage, showrooms, restaurants, training rooms and events.
The transmitter has an HDMI input plus an HDMI loop-out for a local monitor, and both units carry IR so you can operate the source device with its own remote from the screen end. External antennas and separate power adapters give this set more range than dongle-type wireless kits.
Before you order: Range depends on the number of receivers and needs clear line of sight: 1:1 up to 100 m, 1:2 up to 60 m, 1:3 up to 45 m, 1:4 up to 25 m. Latency is 150–200 ms, so it is meant for signage and presentations, not for live interaction.

What It Means in Practice
- Point-to-point out of the box; the same transmitter serves up to four receivers in multicast mode once you add DS-55347 units.
- Use the HDMI loop-out to keep a monitor at the source, e.g. at the reception desk while the same picture runs in the waiting area.
- IR pass-through lets you change channel or playlist on the source from the remote screen.
- Plug & play with AES-128 / WPA2 encryption — no software or drivers.
What Will Not Work
- No 4K: Full HD 1920x1080 at 60Hz maximum.
- The 100 m figure is for a 1:1 link with clear line of sight; with four screens it drops to 25 m.
- Not suitable for gaming or live camera monitoring (150–200 ms delay).
- Extra receivers (DS-55347) are sold separately.
- Indoor use only.
