DURABLE STYLE Badge Reel with Snap Button Strap — Black, 10 Pieces
80 cm cordSnap-button strapMetal back clip10 per pack
The DURABLE STYLE badge reel with snap button strap (832401) is a black retractable ID holder that clips to a belt, waistband or pocket and lets staff pull their card out to a reader or scanner and let it spring back — sold in packs of 10.
The badge hangs from a short strap that closes with a press stud, so cards and badge holders with a slot or Euro perforation can be attached and swapped without tools. The cord extends up to 80 cm, enough to reach a door reader or time clock without unclipping.
Before you order: Maximum load is 20 g — fine for one ID card or a light badge holder, not for a heavy bunch of keys. The metal parts are not nickel-free.
What's in the Box
- 10 × DURABLE STYLE badge reels with snap button strap, black
What It Means in Practice
- Staff can show or scan a card in one movement and it retracts out of the way
- The press-stud strap fits slot-punched PVC cards and badge holders with a Euro slot
- Oval 3.5 × 6.5 cm body stays discreet on a belt or pocket
- A pack of 10 equips a small team with identical reels
What Will Not Work
- Heavy loads — more than 20 g (key bunches, multiple cards)
- Cards without a slot or hole — the strap needs a punched slot or a badge holder
- People with a nickel allergy — the metal parts are not nickel-free
- Custom logo printing — this reel is not printable

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A retractable reel is the best fastener when staff swipe or show a card many times a day — far less fumbling than a lanyard. Pair it with a slot-punched card or a badge holder with a Euro slot. For holders and name badges see our office stationery range.
✓ Buy it if your team swipes or shows ID cards often and you want them on the belt, not around the neck.
✕ Skip it if you need to carry keys or several cards, or someone has a nickel allergy.
→ Also consider DURABLE name badge 60 × 90 mm with Euro perforation (813619) as the badge holder.
Not sure your card has the right slot? Send us a photo or the card type and we will tell you which holder fits.
