The Durable VARICOLOR 10 (part number 761027) is a desktop drawer cabinet with 10 drawers that hold A4, C4, Letter and Folio documents flat, made for offices, reception desks and home offices that need paper sorted by project, person or status instead of stacked in trays.
The housing is grey with anthracite drawers; each drawer front carries a colour accent (yellow, orange, red, light purple and dark purple) and a transparent label window with an exchangeable insert label, so you can see what is where at a glance. Drawers run silently, have pull-out stops and can be removed completely or rearranged.

What It Means in Practice
- Inner drawer area is 242 x 330 mm, so A4 (210 x 297 mm) and C4 envelopes (229 x 324 mm) lie flat without bending.
- 10 equal drawers — each drawer has 22 mm usable height, enough for loose sheets, forms and thin document wallets.
- The anti-slip plastic feet let you stack several VARICOLOR boxes (all share the same 280 x 356 mm footprint) and keep them from sliding on the desk.
- Labels can be printed with Durable's free DURAPRINT software or the VARICOLOR label template, so the system stays tidy when contents change.
What Will Not Work
- It does not lock — there is no key or code; use a lockable cabinet for confidential files.
- A3 and B4 sheets (250 x 353 mm) do not fit; the drawers are sized for A4/C4 portrait.
- No hanging-file rails — documents lie flat in the drawers.
- Lever-arch files and ring binders do not fit in the drawers.
- It is not designed for wall mounting.
