The DURABLE DURACARD ID 300 creates personalised plastic staff badges, membership cards and visitor passes from a connected computer. This package contains one printer, a YMCKO colour ribbon and 100 blank cards, so the initial consumables cover 100 colour prints. It prints one side per pass using dye sublimation for colour images or thermal transfer for black output with the appropriate ribbon. A computer, printer driver and card design are required.

Before you order:
Choose flat CR80 PVC cards measuring 53.98 x 85.60 mm, in 0.50 or 0.76 mm thickness. This is a USB-connected card printer, with no automatic duplex or direct server connection. Verify the current driver for your exact operating system and the supplied mains-plug type before ordering; the manufacturer lists Windows, Mac and Linux without guaranteeing every version.

What It Means in Practice

  • For example, create a staff badge with a name, photo and company logo in DURAPRINT, install the matching driver, then connect the printer when the installer requests it. Load the ribbon and cards, and send the design to print. The feeder holds 25 thicker 0.76 mm cards or 40 thinner 0.50 mm cards; the 100-card kit is replenished in batches rather than loaded all at once.
  • Colour photographs and logos use the YMCKO ribbon. Black-only text work uses the separately purchased black ribbon. The manufacturer reference is 95 colour cards per hour; actual workflow time also includes preparing designs and handling cards. RFID identifies the ribbon cassette and does not mean the printer encodes RFID access cards.

What Will Not Work

  • Paper sheets, paper label rolls, embossed or damaged cards are unsuitable for the documented CR80 PVC workflow.
  • Automatic duplex jobs and direct connection to a shared server are unsupported. Do not assume access-card encoding from the ribbon RFID feature.

Can I load all 100 supplied cards at once?
No. The feeder holds 25 cards at 0.76 mm or 40 cards at 0.50 mm. Refill it as you work; the package quantity is different from the feeder capacity.
Which consumable should I choose after the starter ribbon?
DURABLE lists the 8911 YMCKO colour ribbon for 100 prints and the 8912 black ribbon for 500 prints. Use the matching genuine ribbon and supported CR80 cards. The black ribbon is purchased separately.
Does RFID ribbon recognition create electronic access credentials?
The documented RFID function recognises the ribbon cassette. Card printing places a visual design on the surface; access-card encoding is not established for this SKU. Check your access-control system requirements separately.
