Portable barcode input with cable charging

1D / 2D / OCRBluetoothIP54Cable only

The black DuraScan D740 reads supported linear and 2D barcodes on paper and screens, sending data by Bluetooth to a compatible iOS, Android or Windows host. CX3760-2412 is the Cable Only configuration: one scanner with rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, wrist strap, USB-A charging cable and insert. A charging dock is separate. Your receiving application looks up or records the scanned item.

Before you order:
The supplied USB cable charges the scanner; it is not a wired barcode-data connection. OCR needs the appropriate configuration and application integration. Scanning a code does not authenticate a document or make a clinical decision.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × black D740 scanner with rechargeable battery; wrist strap; barrel-jack to USB-A charging cable; insert.
  • Charging dock, host device and receiving application are separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • Charge the scanner, pair it with the compatible host and select the required HID or application mode.
  • For example, scan an item label into the focused field of a compatible stock application. The application identifies or records the item.
  • Use the optional dock or stand for a fixed charging position. Presentation mode supports hands-free scanning when correctly configured and positioned in a compatible dock or stand.

What Will Not Work

  • No standalone records system, native Wi-Fi or USB barcode-data operation.
  • IP54 does not mean immersion-proof or sterilizable. Battery figures and reading ranges depend on the stated conditions.

Key Features

Durable handheld construction
IP54 housing, six-sided 2 m concrete drop test and a 2,500-cycle tumble test suit mobile barcode workflows.

1D, 2D and OCR
Supports listed 1D/2D barcodes on paper and screens; OCR requires configuration and application support.

Bluetooth host modes
Use HID keyboard input or integrate an application through the supported SDK and host mode.

Replaceable battery
The included 1400 mAh battery can be replaced; charging takes approximately six hours.
