This is a genuine DYMO D1 label tape cassette in 6 mm × 7 m, supplied as part number S0720770 and printed black on transparent. This is DYMO tape model 43610. At 6 mm it takes up to three printed lines on machines that support it.
D1 tape is polyester (PET) and prints by thermal transfer, so there is no ink or toner involved, and the split-back easy-peel liner comes away cleanly. The labels are water resistant and stick to most clean, flat surfaces including plastic, paper, metal, wood and glass. Because the tape is transparent, only the printed text shows on the surface, which suits glass, gloss finishes and anywhere a white patch would look wrong. Compatibility — check before buying:
⚠️ Check your machine takes 6 mm tape. This cassette fits DYMO D1 label makers rated for 6 mm or wider — for example LabelManager 360D, 420P, 500TS, Executive 640CB, MobileLabeler and the LabelWriter 450 Duo tape side. It will not fit LabelManager 160, 210D+ and 280, which take up to 12 mm only. It is also not compatible with DYMO RHINO industrial label makers (IND cartridges), DYMO XTL machines, LetraTag (LT cassettes) or LabelWriter roll printers. DYMO makes D1 in 6, 9, 12, 19 and 24 mm and in a wide colour range — black on white, blue, green, red, yellow and transparent, plus white on black and other combinations.

The thing that catches people out with D1 is width: the range runs 6 to 24 mm but most machines cap out well below the top. Check your label maker's maximum before ordering 6 mm.
