DYMO LetraTag LT-100T Desktop Label Maker — 12 mm LT Tape, QWERTY Keyboard
QWERTY Keyboard12 mm LetraTag LT TapeUp to 2 Printed Lines9 Labels in Memory
The DYMO LetraTag LT-100T Desktop is a simple direct-thermal label maker that prints up to two lines on 12 mm DYMO LetraTag (LT) tape at 180 dpi, for home, study and light office labelling. It is supplied under part number 2174593 with a QWERTY keyboard in silver.
The LT-100T is the desktop version: a wider body meant to sit on a surface and be typed with both hands, using a familiar QWERTY keyboard. A graphical display previews the label before printing, nine labels can be stored for recall, and an integrated blade trims each one. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
⚠️ LetraTag tape is not D1 tape. This machine takes DYMO LT cassettes in 12 mm only — that is the single width LT is made in. LT and D1 are different systems with physically different cassettes: a D1 cassette from a LabelManager will not fit a LetraTag, and an LT cassette will not fit a LabelManager. LT cassettes hold 4 m of tape (D1 holds 7 m) and come in paper, plastic, metallic and iron-on fabric; the common refill is DYMO 91200 / S0721510, 12 mm × 4 m black on white. RHINO IND industrial cartridges and LabelWriter rolls are also not supported. Power: 4 × AA alkaline batteries, not included, and there is no mains adapter for this model — DYMO also advises against rechargeable NiMH cells, which do not supply enough voltage for the print head. This model has no Bluetooth, no USB and no app — every label is composed on its own keypad. If you would rather design labels on a phone, the LetraTag 200B is the Bluetooth model.

A wide, stable body meant to sit on a desk, with a familiar QWERTY keyboard so anyone who types on a computer can enter text at speed.
Preview Before You Print
A graphical display shows the label with its formatting before the tape is used, so you catch a typo on screen rather than on a printed label.
Nine Labels in Memory
Store up to nine frequently used labels for instant recall — useful when you relabel the same set of jars, folders or boxes each time.
Standard 12 mm LetraTag Tape
Uses widely available DYMO LT cassettes in paper, plastic, metallic and iron-on fabric, so you can switch material without changing machine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use D1 tape in a LetraTag?
No. LetraTag uses LT cassettes and LabelManager uses D1 cassettes — they are physically different and do not interchange in either direction. LT comes in 12 mm only, at 4 m per cassette; D1 comes in 6 to 24 mm at 7 m.
What is the difference between the LT-100H and the LT-100T?
Shape and keyboard only, not capability. The LT-100H is handheld with an ABC keyboard in a tall narrow body; the LT-100T is a desktop unit with a QWERTY keyboard in a wider body. Both print two lines on 12 mm LT tape, store nine labels and run on 4 AA batteries.
Are batteries or a charger included?
No. All LetraTag models take 4 × AA alkaline batteries, which are not supplied, and there is no mains adapter for the range. DYMO also advises against rechargeable NiMH cells, because they do not give the print head enough voltage.
How many lines can it print?
Up to two lines on the 12 mm LT tape. If you need three or more lines, or wider tape, look at DYMO's LabelManager range, which takes D1 tape up to 19 or 24 mm depending on the model.
Singular Expert Insight
LetraTag is DYMO's home and hobby line, and the single most important thing to understand before buying is the
tape: LT cassettes are 12 mm only and are not interchangeable with the D1 tape used by the LabelManager range. If you already own D1 tape, or expect to want 19 mm labels or three printed lines, you want a LabelManager, not a LetraTag. Between the two keyboard models, pick the LT-100T if it lives on a desk and you want to type at speed; the handheld LT-100H with its ABC keyboard is easier to use standing at a cupboard. Budget for AA batteries either way, since none of the LetraTag models include them or accept a mains adapter. For office and industrial labelling see our

Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You want a simple, self-contained label maker for home or light office use, 12 mm LT tape and two printed lines is enough, and you prefer typing on the machine to using an app.
Skip it if
You need D1 tape, wider than 12 mm, three or more printed lines, barcodes or a PC connection — that is LabelManager territory, not LetraTag.
Also consider
The DYMO LetraTag LT-100H for one-handed use with an ABC keyboard, the LetraTag 200B for Bluetooth and phone control, or a DYMO LabelManager for D1 tape up to 19 mm.
