The Eaton Easy Battery+ EB010SP is a complete, pre-assembled and pre-wired replacement battery tray for Eaton 5P UPS units. Instead of changing batteries one by one, you swap the whole tray from the front, and Eaton specifies the replacement as hot-swappable, so the UPS and its load can stay on. It is for IT staff and users whose Eaton UPS reports a battery fault or short runtime.
Eaton specifies a 12 V, 9 Ah VRLA battery pack made of 2 x 6 V 9 Ah, weighing 2.5 kg. Eaton provides video tutorials for the replacement.
Before you order: Eaton lists the EB010SP for Eaton 5P but does not publish a per-rating list. Packs differ by battery voltage between ratings of the same family, so send us your UPS model and rating before ordering.

What It Means in Practice

What Will Not Work
- Eaton UPS models outside the listed families, or ratings in those families that use a different battery voltage.
- Non-Eaton UPS.
- It will not repair a UPS with a faulty charger or electronics.
- It will not extend runtime beyond the original. For that you need an Eaton EBM (external battery module).
