The EFB EK631USB.1,5 is a 19-inch, 1.5U rack-mount charging strip with 18 USB ports — nine USB-A and nine USB-C — for charging tablets, phones and handheld devices in charging cabinets, tablet trolleys and racks. Ports are arranged in pairs of one USB-A and one USB-C, each pair delivering up to 3,200 mA at 5 V, with 153 W maximum for the whole strip.
An illuminated on/off switch powers all ports at once, and the strip connects through a 3 m H03VV-F 3G1.5 cable with an angled CEE 7/7 (Schuko) plug. The housing is anodised aluminium in black RAL 9005.
Before you order: the USB-C ports charge at 5 V only — EFB does not list USB Power Delivery. USB-C laptops and fast-charge phones will not get PD fast charging, and each A+C pair shares 3.2 A between its two ports.

What It Means in Practice
- Mixed fleets: older devices on USB-A cables and newer ones on USB-C cables charge from the same strip.
- Up to 18 devices from one mains socket; one device per A+C pair gets the full 3.2 A.
- One switch shuts down all charging, for example at the end of a school day.
- The 3 m cable reaches a socket at the bottom of a tall cabinet.
What Will Not Work
- No USB Power Delivery: USB-C laptops will not charge properly.
- No mains sockets for other equipment.
- No data connection — the ports carry power only.
- No surge protection or residual-current device.
