The EFB-Elektronik O0937.2 is a 2 m duplex single-mode fibre patch cable with E2000/APC connectors on one end and LC connectors on the other. It is the typical cord for connecting an E2000/APC patch panel or provider handover — common in European FTTH and carrier installations — to LC ports on switches, SFP modules or media converters.
It uses OS2 9/125 fibre to ITU-T G.657.A1, which tolerates tighter bends than standard single-mode fibre, inside a 3 mm yellow LSZH jacket with aramid reinforcement. Insertion loss is specified at 0.25 dB or less and return loss at 45 dB or more at 1310/1550 nm, and every cable comes with its own measurement report and duplex clips.
Before you order: One end is E2000 with APC (angled, green) polish: it must mate with an E2000/APC adapter — never with E2000/UPC (blue), which damages both end-faces. The LC end goes into standard single-mode LC ports. This cable is single-mode only; it will not work with multi-mode equipment.
