The EFB-Elektronik EC020200192 is a 0.5 m green RJ45 patch cable that pairs Cat 7 S/FTP PiMF raw cable (rated to 600 MHz) with Cat 6A connectors, built for short 10 Gigabit links in racks and between network equipment.

Part number EC020200192 uses 4 × 2 AWG 27/7 stranded copper pairs, each wrapped in its own foil plus an overall braid, inside a 6 mm halogen-free LSZH jacket with moulded anti-kink boots and a printed length marking. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility Note
RJ45 connectors limit any link to Cat 6A (Class EA, 500 MHz) — the Cat 7 rating describes the raw cable only, so treat this as a very well-shielded Cat 6A cord. It works with every RJ45 Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbit/s and 2.5/5/10GBASE-T). For the shield to be effective, the equipment or patch panel at both ends should have shielded, earthed ports. EFB publishes no PoE class for this cord. Indoor use only (IP20).

Is the EFB EC020200192 a Cat 7 or a Cat 6A cable?
Both, in a sense: the raw cable is Cat 7 S/FTP (600 MHz), but RJ45 plugs are only standardised up to Cat 6A, so the finished cord performs as a Cat 6A patch cable. That comfortably supports 10GBASE-T over the full 100 m channel.
Will the EC020200192 work with my Gigabit switch or router?
Yes. It is a standard RJ45-to-RJ45 cord wired 1:1 (T568B) and works with any 10/100/1000 Mbit/s or multi-gig Ethernet port. The shielding needs shielded ports to add benefit, but causes no problems on unshielded ones.
What length and colour options are there?
This is the 0.5 m green version. The same EC020200 Cat 7 raw cord is available in other colours (for example green, red and blue at 50 cm) and in longer lengths, so you can colour-code uplinks, servers and PoE devices.
