EFB-Elektronik Plug & Play 2-Fan Unit for Wall Cabinets — Light Grey
2 fans · 320 m³/hThermostat included230 V · 42 WRAL 7035
The EFB-Elektronik 691656GR is a plug-and-play 2-fan ventilation unit with thermostat for EFB 19-inch wall cabinets, moving up to 320 m³/h of air, for anyone whose wall-mounted network cabinet gets warm with switches, routers and PoE equipment inside.
It mounts inside the cabinet, hanging under the roof, where warm air collects. An illuminated on/off switch and the included thermostat control the fans, and power connects through a standard IEC C14 inlet at the rear.
Before you order: EFB lists this unit for its own wall cabinet series (one-part and two-part, FLAT PACK, IP55 and BASIC). The mains power cable is not included — you need an IEC C13 cable (the common PC/monitor type) to connect it.
What's in the Box
- 1 × 2-fan unit (light grey, RAL 7035)
- Thermostat
- Mounting material
- No power cable — IEC C13 cable required separately
What It Means in Practice
- Mounted under the roof, it does not use any 19-inch rack units.
- 320 m³/h free-blowing airflow is ample for a typical wall cabinet with a few switches and a router.
- 47 dB(A) is similar to normal office background noise.
- The thermostat keeps the fans off when the cabinet is cool, saving wear and noise.
- Protected sheet steel housing, IP20 once mounted — for indoor dry locations.
What Will Not Work
- Cabinets from other brands unless the roof fixing matches — compatibility is published only for EFB wall cabinet series.
- Floor-standing cabinets and open frames — this unit is designed for EFB wall cabinets.
- Plugging in without a separate IEC C13 power cable.
- Outdoor or wet locations — the unit is IP20 when mounted.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Wall cabinets heat up quickly because they are small and often closed. A roof fan unit is the simplest cure, and this one is sized for EFB wall cabinets. Remember the IEC C13 cable and a free outlet on your power strip. For fan panels that fit any 19-inch rack, see our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you have an EFB wall cabinet that runs warm and want thermostat-controlled cooling.
✕ Skip it if your cabinet is another brand without a matching roof fixing, or a floor-standing cabinet.
→ Also consider the white ral 9010 version to match your cabinet colour, or a 1U rail-mounted fan panel for other racks.
Not sure it fits your setup? Send us the model of your rack, switch or device and we will check compatibility before you order.
