The EFB-Elektronik 691703VWS is a very slim 19″ steel wall housing in white (RAL 9010), 537 mm wide and 475 mm high, that projects only about 150 mm from the wall. EFB splits it into two zones: a 3U section for vertical mounting of 19″ devices, with maximum depths of 360, 340 and 300 mm for one device each, and a 5U section for horizontal mounting of flat 19″ components up to 80 mm deep, such as patch panels. The 3U level swings through 180°, which gives access to the rear of the equipment. The housing cover has a viewing window and flips up, latches and locks. Pre-punched ventilation openings allow passive cooling, and pre-punched cable guides in the back plus entries at the top and sides bring the cabling in. It comes fully pre-assembled, carries up to 30 kg, is earthed and rated IP20.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a slim wall housing, not a standard cabinet. The 5U horizontal section takes components only up to 80 mm deep (patch panels and similar), and switches or routers go in the 3U vertical section, limited to one device each at 360, 340 and 300 mm depth. Check that your switch can be mounted vertically and fits those depths. Load is 30 kg. EFB lists one key in the box; wall plugs and screws are not listed. This is the pure white RAL 9010 version; 691703V is the same housing in light grey RAL 7035. Send us the models you plan to install and we check the fit.
