The EFB-Elektronik EBUSBC-RJ45-1000MBIT is a USB 3.2 Gigabit network adapter with a USB Type-C plug on a 0.15 m cable and an RJ45 jack at the other end. It adds a 10/100/1000 Mbps wired network port to laptops, tablets and desktops with a USB-C port, and is aimed at users of thin notebooks and MacBooks who need a dependable wired connection.

EFB specifies Wake-on-LAN, full-duplex flow control, automatic crossover detection and correction, plug-and-play installation and hot-swap support. The adapter is powered from the USB port, so no external power supply is required. The white housing suits white and silver laptops.

The short 15 cm lead lets the adapter rest on the desk instead of hanging off the laptop port, which reduces strain on the connector.

Before you order: Do not confuse this model with EFB's black EBUSBC-RJ45-2500MBIT, which is the 2.5 Gbit version. This one (1000MBIT, white) runs at up to 1 Gbps. The USB-C port must carry data, not charging only.
