EFB-Elektronik EK502.3V2 — Power Cord Euro Plug to C7 (Figure-8), 3 m, Black
3 mEuro plug CEE 7/16C7 figure-8250 V / 2.5 A
The EFB-Elektronik EK502.3V2 is a 3 m black mains cable with a flat two-pin Euro plug (CEE 7/16) on one end and a straight C7 “figure-8” connector on the other. EFB-Elektronik, the German cabling manufacturer, builds it as a 3.0 m cord with a black PVC jacket, VDE-marked plug and connector, and a rating of 250 V / 2.5 A. The C7 connector is the two-slot, figure-8 shaped socket found on many TVs, soundbars, games consoles, set-top boxes, small printers and a lot of external laptop power bricks. The cable has two conductors of 0.75 mm² and no earth, which is exactly what C8-inlet devices are designed for — they are double-insulated and do not use a protective earth. It is a plain, honest spare: the kind of cable you keep in the drawer for the day a device arrives without one, the old cord is too short, or a rack needs a neater run. Every order is supported locally by Singular in Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Plug type: this is the continental European version. Wall sockets in Cyprus are the UK type (BS 1363, Type G), so the Euro plug (CEE 7/16) does not fit a Cypriot wall socket directly — it needs a Euro-to-UK plug adapter, or a UK-plug cord instead. Device end: C7 “figure-8” connector for a C8 inlet. It fits only the two-slot figure-8 inlet. It does not fit a three-pin kettle-type (C14) inlet on a PC or monitor, nor the three-slot “cloverleaf” (C6) inlet used on many laptop power supplies — those need a C13 or C5 cord. The 2.5 A rating suits low-power equipment; it is not meant for heaters or other high-current appliances. Tell us the device and we confirm the right cord before you order.
Best For
✓ TVs and soundbars with a figure-8 inlet
✓ Games consoles and set-top boxes
✓ Laptop power bricks with a C8 inlet
✓ Small printers and scanners
✓ Replacing a short or lost cord
✓ Equipment behind a TV wall or AV rack
Key Features
3 m reach
Three metres of cable lets the device sit away from the socket — a TV on a wall, a console on a shelf or a power brick under a desk.
C7 figure-8 connector
The straight IEC C7 connector fits the two-slot figure-8 inlet used on a wide range of double-insulated electronics.
VDE-marked build
Plug and cable carry VDE marks; the cord is a H03VVH2-F flat-twin type with 2 × 0.75 mm² conductors, rated 250 V / 2.5 A.
Black PVC jacket
A black PVC jacket that disappears behind AV furniture and TV units.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it plug into a wall socket in Cyprus?
Not directly. Cypriot sockets are the UK three-pin type, and this cord has a two-pin Euro plug. Use a Euro-to-UK plug adapter, or ask us for a figure-8 cord with a UK plug.
How do I know if my device takes a C7 cord?
Look at the power inlet on the device. A C7 cord fits a small two-slot inlet shaped like a figure-8 (sometimes called a “shotgun” inlet). If the inlet has three holes, it needs a different cord.
Is 2.5 A enough for my TV?
For most TVs, soundbars, consoles and power bricks with a figure-8 inlet, yes: those devices are designed around C7 cords. Check the input rating printed on the device; if it asks for more than 2.5 A, send us the model and we check it.
Does it have an earth wire?
No. It has two conductors and no earth, as C7/C8 connections are meant for double-insulated equipment that does not need one.
Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the EK502.3V2 when a figure-8 device needs a longer cord than the one in its box — three metres is usually enough to reach from a wall-mounted TV to a low socket. In Cyprus, remember the Euro plug needs an adapter; for a permanent installation a cord with a UK plug is the tidier choice. Browse our
computer power cables for other lengths and connector types, or send us the model of the device and we pick the cord for you.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a 3 m replacement cord for a TV, console or power brick with a figure-8 inlet.
Skip it if
Your device has a three-pin (C14) or cloverleaf (C6) inlet, or you want to plug straight into a UK socket without an adapter.
