EFB USB-C to USB-C Cable — 3 m, 100 W PD, Braided Space Grey
3 m cable100 W USB PD5 A e-marker chipTextile braided
The EFB USB-C cable USB-CC-00004 is a 3 m USB-C to USB-C charging and data cable rated for 100 W with USB Power Delivery 3.0: it has the 5 A e-marker chip that a USB-C laptop charger needs before it will deliver more than 60 W. It charges laptops, tablets and phones from any USB-C PD charger, and it carries data at USB 2.0 speed (480 Mbps). EFB-Elektronik, the German cable maker from Bielefeld, builds it with a grey textile braid, aluminium plug housings, gold-plated contacts and 20 AWG conductors, rated for 10,000 mating cycles. At 3 m it is the longest single cable of the range, for sockets far from the desk, bed or conference table.
Compatibility — check before buying:
A charging cable, not a video or fast-data cable. Data runs at USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) and EFB publishes no DisplayPort Alt Mode: it will not connect a USB-C monitor, it will not carry a dock’s video, and it is slow for large SSD transfers — for those you need a USB 3.2, USB4 or Thunderbolt cable. For charging it is the right cable: the 5 A e-marker allows up to 100 W, if your charger and laptop support it. Both ends are USB-C, so it does not fit USB-A chargers or ports. The 3 m cable is the longest in the range; if 2 m is enough, USB-CC-00003 is tidier. Send us your laptop and charger model and we confirm the wattage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it charge my laptop at full speed?
Yes, up to 100 W. The 5 A e-marker lets a USB-C PD charger deliver more than 60 W, which many laptops need. The actual power is what your charger and laptop agree on; a 65 W charger still delivers 65 W.
Can I connect a USB-C monitor with it?
No. The cable carries data at USB 2.0 speed only and EFB publishes no DisplayPort Alt Mode, so it will not carry video to a monitor or through a dock. Ask us for a USB-C video cable.
Does it work with iPhone 15 and newer?
Yes, for charging and syncing: those iPhones have USB-C and support USB Power Delivery. Data runs at USB 2.0, which matches the standard iPhone 15 and 16 models.
Is 3 m slower for charging?
EFB rates the 3 m cable for the same 100 W and 5 A as the shorter versions. USB 2.0 data also works over the full length.
Singular Expert Insight
We recommend this EFB cable as the charging cable for USB-C laptops and tablets: the 5 A e-marker is the detail cheap cables leave out, and without it a 100 W charger falls back to 60 W. Just do not buy it for monitors or fast SSDs. Choose 3 m only when you need the reach. For a matching charger see our
