EMTEC C410 Color Mix Candy Jar, 80 × 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drives in 5 Candy Colours, Counter Display Jar for Resale or Events
EMTEC C410 Color Mix Candy Jar: 80 colourful 32GB USB drives in a counter-top jar
The EMTEC C410 Color Mix Candy Jar (ECMMD32GC410JAR80) is a counter-top jar holding 80 individual 32GB USB 2.0 flash drives in a mix of five candy colours (yellow, purple, red, blue and green), aimed at shops reselling single drives, and at schools, offices and event organisers who need many identical drives at once.
Each drive comes in its own transparent bag with an EAN sticker, so it can be sold or handed out individually straight from the jar. The drives are basic USB 2.0 sticks with a cap, rated up to 15 MB/s read and 5 MB/s write, made for documents, presentations and photos rather than large video transfers.
What's in the Box
- 1 × display jar (175 × 135 × 175 mm)
- 80 × EMTEC C410 32GB USB 2.0 flash drives in five mixed colours
- Each drive in an individual transparent bag with EAN sticker
What It Means in Practice
- You get 80 drives in one purchase, so the order quantity is the jar; colours come mixed and cannot be chosen per drive.
- At up to 5 MB/s write, filling one drive with 32GB takes well over an hour; preloading many drives with a large file set needs time or a USB duplicator.
- Usable capacity shown in Windows or macOS is lower than the label: manufacturers count 1 GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes, operating systems count in binary units, and the file system takes a small share.
- Real-world speed depends on the port, the computer and the files: one large video copies much faster than thousands of small photos or documents.
- Always use Eject or Safely Remove before pulling the drive out; unplugging during a write is the most common cause of a corrupted stick.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a single drive: if you need one or two sticks, choose a single-pack model instead of the jar.
- It does not plug straight into USB-C-only laptops, tablets or phones; you need a USB-C to USB-A adapter (an OTG adapter for phones).
- It is not a backup on its own: flash drives get lost and can fail, so keep a second copy of anything important.
- It is not an external SSD; for large daily transfers or running applications from the drive, an external SSD is the right tool.
