EMTEC Elite Gold microSDXC Memory Card 128GB, UHS-I U1 Class 10, with SD Adapter, for Phones, Tablets and Cameras

The EMTEC Elite Gold microSDXC 128GB with SD adapter (ECMSDM128GXC10GP, formerly sold as Gold+) is a UHS-I U1, Class 10 memory card for phones, tablets, cameras and handheld consoles that need lots of space for photos, music and Full HD video.

EMTEC publishes speeds only for the Elite Gold range, not for the 128GB card itself, so we list the guaranteed U1 minimum of 10 MB/s sustained write. The SD adapter in the pack lets you use it in cameras and laptop SD slots.

• 1 × EMTEC Elite Gold microSDXC 128GB card
• 1 × microSD-to-SD adapter

• Formatted capacity is lower than the nominal 128GB — part of the space is used by the file system and the card firmware, so your device will show slightly less.
• The UHS-I U1 Class 10 rating guarantees at least 10 MB/s sustained write — enough for photos and Full HD (1080p) video recording.
• SDXC cards come formatted exFAT, so single files larger than 4 GB (long video clips) are no problem.
• With the included SD adapter the same card also works in cameras and laptop SD slots.

• Devices that only support SD/SDHC (many cameras, car radios and card readers made before about 2010) will not recognise an SDXC card.
• 4K cameras, drones or action cams that require a U3 or V30 card — this card is rated for Full HD, not 4K recording.
• UHS-II speeds — this is a UHS-I card; it works in UHS-II devices but only at UHS-I speed.
• 24/7 recording in dashcams or CCTV cameras — EMTEC does not rate this card as a high-endurance model; choose an endurance-rated card for continuous recording.
