The Emtec SpeedIN 64GB (ECMSD64GXC10SP) is a full-size SDXC memory card rated Class 10 · UHS-I U3, for storing photos, video and files in cameras, phones and other devices.

This is the full-size SD format used by DSLR and mirrorless cameras, camcorders, audio recorders and laptop SD slots. UHS-I U3 guarantees at least 30 MB/s sustained writing, the level most cameras ask for when recording 4K video, and emtec quotes up to 100 MB/s read and up to 50 MB/s write for the 64GB card.

• Usable space: a 64GB card shows about 59.6 GB in Windows or Android — binary counting and file-system overhead, not a fault.
• Cards of 64GB and larger are SDXC and use exFAT. Devices that only support SD/SDHC (up to 32GB) cannot use them, so check that your camera, phone or recorder lists SDXC support.
• For the 64GB size emtec quotes up to 100 MB/s read and up to 50 MB/s write. Offloading a full card to a PC goes fastest through a UHS-I card reader; a USB 2.0 reader limits transfers to roughly a third of that.
• Format the card in the device you will use it in (camera, drone, dashcam, phone) before the first recording; this sets the correct file system and avoids card errors.
• Full-size SD goes straight into cameras, camcorders and laptop SD slots without any adapter.

• It does not fit microSD slots (phones, tablets, drones, action cameras, Nintendo Switch) — and there is no adapter that turns a full-size SD into a microSD.
• UHS-II speeds — this is a UHS-I card; in UHS-II cameras it works at UHS-I speed.
• Cameras whose manual specifically demands a V30, V60 or V90 marked card — this card is marked U3 / Class 10.
• Devices that only read SD/SDHC (up to 32GB) will not use this SDXC card.
• A memory card is not a backup: copy important photos and video to a PC or cloud regularly.
