Emtec SpeedIN PRO 512GB microSDXC Memory Card, UHS-I U3 V30 A2, up to 100 MB/s Read/Write, with SD Adapter

The Emtec SpeedIN PRO 512GB (ECMSDM512GXC10SP) is a microSDXC memory card rated Class 10 · UHS-I U3 · Video Speed Class V30 · A2, supplied with an SD adapter, for storing photos, video and files in cameras, phones and other devices.

The 512GB size is the A2 version of the SpeedIN PRO line, and emtec quotes up to 100 MB/s for both reading and writing on this capacity. U3 and V30 mean a guaranteed 30 MB/s minimum sustained write, the level most 4K cameras, drones and action cams ask for, while A2 targets apps installed on the card in Android phones and handhelds that support it.

• 1 × Emtec SpeedIN PRO 512GB microSDXC memory card
• 1 × microSD to SD adapter
• No card reader is included — to copy files to a PC without an SD slot, add a USB card reader

• Usable space: a 512GB card shows about 476 GB in Windows or Android — binary counting and file-system overhead, not a fault.
• Cards of 64GB and larger are SDXC and use exFAT. Devices that only support SD/SDHC (up to 32GB) cannot use them, so check that your camera, phone or recorder lists SDXC support.
• Up to 100 MB/s read and write are emtec figures for the 512GB card itself. Reaching them needs a UHS-I card reader or device; a basic USB 2.0 reader limits transfers to roughly a third of that.
• Format the card in the device you will use it in (camera, drone, dashcam, phone) before the first recording; this sets the correct file system and avoids card errors.
• The SD adapter lets the same card work in a laptop SD slot, an SD card reader or a full-size SD camera.

• A2 app performance only applies on phones and devices that support A2; elsewhere the card still works, without the A2 benefit.
• UHS-II-only speeds (above 104 MB/s bus) — this is a UHS-I card.
• Devices that only read SD/SDHC (up to 32GB) will not use this SDXC card.
• A memory card is not a backup: copy important photos and video to a PC or cloud regularly.
