The ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 22AY0026VU combines a 16-inch 2560 × 1600 IPS display with 120Hz refresh and 100% sRGB coverage, Core Ultra 5 228V, integrated Arc 130V graphics, 32GB LPDDR5X and a 1TB NVMe SSD. This black aluminium, English (EU) keyboard configuration ships without an operating system. It is intended for a buyer or IT team prepared to install a compatible OS, drivers and applications before everyday use.
Before you order:
No OS or bundled software is supplied; plan installation media, compatible drivers and any required software licence separately. Windows shown in product photos is illustrative. RAM is fixed at 32GB with no slots, and this Lunar Lake version supports one internal drive, not a second SSD. Lenovo classifies the hardware as Copilot+ PC, but those Windows AI features require separately installed compatible Windows 11 and applicable software. A 65W USB-C adapter and a 3-year Onsite service upgrade from the 1-year base warranty are specified.

What It Means in Practice
- First plan the OS installation and driver deployment with your IT provider, including any required licence. After setup, connect the supplied charger and use Wi-Fi 6E or Gigabit Ethernet for networking. Windows Hello facial sign-in and the Copilot+ software experience are software-dependent features, not ready-to-use services on this no-OS unit.
- For desk work, HDMI and the two configured Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports can connect compatible displays and docks. This 228V Lunar Lake model supports the built-in display plus up to two external displays; an 8K connection reduces the simultaneous display count by one. Check display, dock and cable support for the required resolution.
- Choose the 32GB memory capacity at purchase, because it cannot be expanded. The single SSD slot is occupied by the supplied 1TB drive; there is no spare internal slot to add a second SSD. Lenovo lists support up to 1TB for this Lunar Lake storage configuration.
What Will Not Work
- It is not ready to boot into supplied Windows, and no Windows or Office preload should be assumed from the photos.
- No RAM expansion, second internal SSD, touch/pen input, memory-card reader, Smart Card reader, NFC or WWAN support is specified for this model.
- Arc 130V is integrated graphics with shared memory. It is not a discrete workstation GPU; check demanding application requirements.
