The EPOS IMPACT 1060 ANC (article 1001130) is a double-sided Bluetooth office headset with hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation, built for people who take calls in rooms they cannot control. Four digital MEMS microphones handle the call side across 100 Hz to 16 kHz in super wideband, while the speakers run the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz so the headset is as good for music between meetings as it is for calls. Bluetooth 5.3 with the BTD 800a USB-A dongle gives triple connectivity — three devices connected at the same time — and the battery reaches up to 20 hours of talking with ANC off, or 19 with it on, with standby up to 300 hours. This is the UC build, certified for Google Meet, with a hook button rather than a Teams button.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the UC article, certified for Google Meet. It has no Teams button. The Teams build is 1001136, a separate article, and the Teams behaviour cannot be added to this one by a firmware update. There is no charging stand in the box. The headset supports wireless charging, but the pad or stand is not supplied — that is the difference between the 1060 line and the IMPACT 1061 line, which includes the CH 40 stand. The dongle is USB-A. On a USB-C-only laptop it needs a hub or an adapter, or you pair natively over Bluetooth and step outside the certified link. And there is no desk-phone connection — this is a softphone and mobile headset.
