The equip 337112 is a modular 1U, 19″ fiber optic splice box in grey (RAL 7035) for structured cabling. It is supplied without a front panel, so you configure it for the connectors you use: fit an equip 24-port front panel and the box handles up to 48 fibers, in single-mode or multimode. The steel housing slides out of the rack, which gives room for splicing, routing and storing fiber; inside there is a holder for splice cassettes and an extendible base chassis with punch-outs for fixing pigtails. A quick-mount design speeds up installation and later changes as the network grows. equip includes M6 screws, cable ties and cable glands. It measures 483 × 243 × 44 mm and weighs 3.8 kg. In practice it is the termination point where incoming fiber cables are spliced to pigtails and presented as patchable ports.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Order the front panel separately. The box ships without front panel, pigtails and adapters. equip lists the front panels 337101 (24 × LC-Duplex / SC-Simplex) and 337103 (24 × SC-Duplex) in grey for it; choose one, then couplers and pigtails to match your fiber type. Splicing requires a fusion splicer and a trained installer. The box needs 1U and at least 243 mm of depth in a 19″ rack. This is the grey version; the 337111 is the same box in black, and its front panels are the black 337100 / 337102. Tell us the fiber count, fiber type and connector, and we put together the complete kit.
