Equip 119445 active optical DisplayPort cable, 50 m, 8K60, Black

DP → DP8K6050 m

The Equip 119445 brings a DisplayPort source to a distant screen over 50 m. Its active optical design suits conference rooms or digital signage where the cable route is much longer than a desk connection. Check which end is Source before routing the cable: this model carries the signal in one direction.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the graphics output and screen input for the selected mode. Resolution and refresh need support from both devices. Connect Source to the output and Display to the screen before routing.

Key Features

Long optical route
50 m of optical transmission with active signal conversion; plan the complete route before installation.

Audio and video together
The same link carries digital audio and video, with HDR, DSC and MST support when the connected hardware supports them.

Secure connectors
Metal latches hold the plugs in place. Release the latch before unplugging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I install either end at the computer?
No. Connect the Source end to the graphics output and the Display end to the screen. Test that direction before concealing the route.
Will it add 8K support to an older DisplayPort output?
No. The source and display still determine the available video modes. Backward compatibility lets the cable work with earlier DP versions, within their capabilities.
Singular Expert Insight
For 50 m installations, check the full cable route and test your actual screen mode before concealing it. Choose the connection technology and connector size around the installation, not length alone. Compare DisplayPort cables and adapters Tell us your source and display models so we can check compatibility requirements.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

The 50 m route, connector type and documented 8K60 mode match your equipment.

Skip it if

You need more reach, different connectors or a video mode beyond the stated limits.

Also consider

A shorter cable for a nearby screen or a different technology for your conduit and video requirements.
