The Equip 255105 is a 5 m single-mode OS2 (9/125 µm) duplex fibre optic patch cable with E2000/APC connectors on one end and LC/APC on the other, for low-reflection connections in telecom systems, carrier hand-offs, data centres and enterprise networks.
The angled physical contact (APC) polish on both ends keeps back-reflection low, which matters for long single-mode links, RF-over-fibre video and PON equipment. The yellow LSZH jacket marks it as single-mode and is suitable for indoor installation.
Before you order: both ends are APC (angled polish). Connect only to APC adapters and ports — mating APC with PC/UPC connectors gives high loss and damages the end faces.

- Typical use: from an E2000/APC termination (carrier ODF, splice box or wall outlet) to LC/APC equipment or a patch panel in your rack.
- E2000 connectors have a spring-loaded protective shutter that closes when unplugged, keeping dust off the end face.
- Duplex means two fibres (transmit and receive). If the link does not come up, check that TX on one side reaches RX on the other.
