Equip 119455 HDMI 2.1 Active Optical Cable, 50 m

50 m of HDMI 2.1 over fibre for halls, auditoriums and long AV runs.
HDMI 2.1 · 48 Gbps4K 144Hz · 8K 60Hz (DSC)50 m fibre hybrideARC · VRR · ALLM

The Equip 119455 is a 50 m HDMI 2.1 active optical cable that carries up to 48 Gbps over a fibre hybrid core, supporting 4K at 144 Hz and 8K at 30 Hz natively, or 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 240 Hz with DSC. Part number 119455 covers auditorium, lecture-hall and large-venue distances that copper HDMI cannot reach reliably.

Compatibility Note: Directional cable — the Source end goes to the player, PC or console and the Display end to the screen or projector. 8K60 and 4K240 require DSC support on both devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Equip 119455 keep full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth at 50 m?
Yes — the fibre core carries up to 48 Gbps over the full length, so 4K 144 Hz works natively and 8K 60 Hz works with DSC.
Can I reverse the Equip 119455?
No. Active optical cables work one way only; connect the Source-marked end to the source device.
Singular Expert Insight
The 119455 is for genuinely long HDMI 2.1 runs where copper and even most extenders struggle. If 30 m is enough, the 119453 is lighter and easier to route.
✓ Buy it if you need 4K high-refresh or 8K to a projector or display up to 50 m away.
✕ Skip it if you only need 4K60 — an HDMI 2.0 AOC or HDMI over IP extender may cost less.
→ Also consider Equip 119453 (30 m) or 119432 HDMI 2.0 AOC (70 m) for 4K60 at longer distances.
