Equip 119450 · HDMI 2.1 Active Optical Cable · 10 m

48 Gbps8K60 · 4K120eARC · VRR · ALLMOne-way

The Equip 119450 is a 10 m HDMI 2.1 active optical cable that carries the full 48 Gbps Ultra High Speed signal for 8K60 and 4K120 from a console, PC or AV receiver to a TV or projector. Part number 119450 has zinc-alloy housings with gold-plated HDMI Type A plugs and a thin fibre core that weighs only 0.35 kg.

It passes eARC with 1536 kHz audio sampling, Dynamic HDR, VRR, ALLM, QMS, QFT and DSC, so every HDMI 2.1 gaming and home-cinema feature reaches the display.

Compatibility note: The cable is one-way: connect the Source end to the console, PC or receiver and the Display end to the screen. Both devices must support HDMI 2.1 for 4K120, VRR or 8K to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Equip 119450 and the 119385?
Both are 10 m HDMI 2.1 cables. The 119385 is passive copper and works in both directions; the 119450 is an optical cable that is thinner, lighter and more tolerant of long in-wall runs, but must be installed in the marked direction.
Does the Equip 119450 need a power supply?
Equip does not list an external power adapter in the package contents; like most HDMI AOCs it is designed to draw power from the HDMI port. Test with low-power sources such as some streaming sticks before permanent installation.
Which longer lengths exist?
The same HDMI 2.1 AOC family is available as 119451 (15 m), 119452 (20 m), 119453 (30 m) and 119455 (50 m).
Singular Expert Insight
For a 4K120 gaming setup or an 8K-ready home cinema where the cable goes into a wall or ceiling, the 119450 gives more headroom than a 10 m copper lead and is far easier to pull. If you only need a visible cable between devices and want to use it in either direction, the passive Equip 119385 is the simpler option. See all HDMI Cables & Adapters.
✓ Buy it if you need full HDMI 2.1 performance over 10 m, especially through walls or conduit.
✕ Skip it if you want a cable you can use in either direction, or only need 4K60.
→ Also consider Equip 119385 passive HDMI 2.1 10 m, or Equip 119438 HDMI 2.0 AOC for 4K60.
