The Equip 133474 is a USB-C male to 3.5 mm stereo jack female audio adapter with a built-in DAC (digital-to-analogue converter), for using wired headphones, earphones and 4-pole headsets with USB-C phones, tablets and laptops that have no headphone jack. The 4-pin (TRRS) socket passes both stereo audio and the headset microphone, and the aluminium shell on a short 15 cm lead keeps it light and durable.
Compatibility note: This is an active DAC adapter, so it works with devices that output digital USB audio; it does not provide pass-through charging, so the USB-C port is occupied while it is in use.
