Share a cable route with the correct passive splitter setup

Cat 5eShielded15 cmUse in pairs

The Equip 127603 is a passive Cat 5e RJ45 splitter with one male plug and two female ports on a 15 cm shielded lead. It supports a planned pairwise installation for two network connections sharing an existing cable route. It must not be treated as an active switch that creates two network ports from a single source port.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The exact-model manufacturer leaflet states that pairwise use is necessary. Confirm the complete wiring arrangement before purchase; the package contains one splitter.

Key Features

Defined RJ45 layout
One RJ45 male plug connects to two RJ45 female jacks in a passive arrangement.

Shielded Cat 5e construction
The shielded construction and 15 cm lead suit a planned Cat 5e cabling installation.

Plan both ends
Use the splitter in a compatible pairwise setup as required by the manufacturer, rather than as a stand-alone port expander.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will one splitter turn one router port into two?
It is a passive cabling component, not an active network switch. The manufacturer requires pairwise use; check the complete source and destination wiring.
Are two splitters supplied?
No. The manufacturer lists one 127603 splitter in the package. Plan and obtain the other required installation components separately.
