equip 605547 Cat 6 S/FTP Patch Cable, 0.5 m, Green
Cat 6 S/FTP0.5 m250 MHzPoE / PoE+
The equip 605547 is a 0.5 m Cat 6 S/FTP RJ45 patch cable in green, built for short Gigabit Ethernet links between switches, patch panels, routers, PCs and PoE devices. Each of the four pairs sits in its own metal foil with an overall braid (PiMF), and the LSZH jacket makes it a sensible choice for offices, server rooms and any space where halogen-free cabling is specified. Part number 605547 ships with RJ45 male plugs on both ends, wired 1:1 to T568B. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
This is a Cat 6 cord rated for 250 MHz and Gigabit Ethernet — pick a Cat 6A cable if you need guaranteed 10GBASE-T over the full channel. Conductors are AWG 28/7 (thinner than the usual AWG 26), which keeps the cord flexible for dense patch panels; at 0.5 m this has no practical effect on PoE or signal budget. The shield only works end-to-end when both ports are shielded and earthed.
Key Features
PiMF foil + braid shielding
S/FTP construction with each pair wrapped in metal foil and an overall braid (PiMF — pairs in metal foil) limits crosstalk and external interference in crowded racks.
PoE / PoE+ ready
equip rates the cord for PoE (802.3af) and PoE+ (802.3at), so it can feed IP phones, cameras and access points from a PoE switch.
LSZH, moulded and short
Low-smoke zero-halogen jacket, moulded boots with strain relief and a 0.5 m length that keeps switch-to-patch-panel runs tidy without slack loops.

Singular Expert Insight
The 605547 is the short member of equip's 6055 Cat 6 S/FTP family (same cable in 2 m as 6055x1, 10 m as 6055x6), and its eight colours make it ideal for colour-coding a patch panel — for example green for one VLAN or service. For plain Gigabit desk runs an unshielded Cat 6 U/UTP cord costs less; for new installs that should carry 10 Gbit between network switches, step up to Cat 6A.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a 0.5 m halogen-free, shielded Gigabit patch lead with PoE+ support for a rack, patch panel or PoE switch.
Skip it if
You need guaranteed 10 Gbps (choose Cat 6A 500 MHz) or longer runs than 0.5 m.
Also consider
equip 606xxx Cat 6A S/FTP for 10G, or equip 6254xx Cat 6 U/UTP for budget unshielded desk runs.
