equip Cat 6A Platinum S/FTP Patch Cable — 1.0 m Black
Cat 6A · 500 MHz10 GbpsS/FTP PiMF3P + UL certified
The equip 605690 is a 1.0 m Cat 6A Platinum S/FTP patch cable in black for 10 Gbps connections between switches, servers, patch panels and workstations. It belongs to equip's top Platinum line: fully shielded pairs, AWG 26/7 bare copper conductors and 3P certification plus UL listing for installations where verified performance matters.
The part number is 605690 (EAN 4015867163252). This is a single cable (not a multi-pack). The same Platinum 1.0 m cable also comes as white 605610, red 605620, orange 605670, purple 605650 or yellow 605660 for colour-coded patching. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility note: Cat 6A delivers 10 Gbps only when every part of the link is Cat 6A-rated — patch panel, keystones and switch ports. The cable is fully backward compatible with Cat 6/5e equipment at 1 Gbps. For the shielding to be effective, use it with shielded (STP) panels and properly grounded equipment.
Key Features
Platinum S/FTP PiMF shielding
Each pair sits in its own metal foil under an overall braid, suppressing alien crosstalk and EMI in dense racks and next to power cabling.
3P certified and UL listed
Independent 3P channel testing and UL listing give extra assurance for data-centre and structured-cabling projects that demand documented quality.
PoE+ with LSZH jacket
AWG 26/7 bare copper supports PoE and PoE+, while the low smoke zero halogen jacket suits offices, server rooms and public buildings.

Singular Expert Insight
The Platinum 605690 is the pick when you want certified Cat 6A rather than just labelled Cat 6A — useful for server rooms, audits and warranty-backed installations. For everyday desk patching a standard equip Cat 6A S/FTP cord is cheaper and performs the same on paper. Connect your network switches and colour-code with white 605610, red 605620, orange 605670, purple 605650 or yellow 605660.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a certified 1 m Cat 6A link for 10 Gbps switch, server or panel patching with PoE+ support.
Skip it if
You only run 1 Gbps to desks — a standard Cat 6 cable costs less and does the job.
Also consider
The same Platinum 1.0 m cable as white 605610, red 605620, orange 605670, purple 605650 or yellow 605660.
